Erica Lyden MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with training and experience treating adolescent and adult patients with psychiatric disorders across practice settings from hospitals to outpatient clinics.
She started her initial education and training at Adelphi University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005. In 2019, she was awarded a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University’s psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program. She has over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry. In addition to working in healthcare, Erica has worked as an adjunct nursing instructor in the nursing programs at Northampton Community College. She is also a preceptor and mentor to undergraduate nurses, and graduate students from various nursing programs.
Erica’s philosophy to care is combining treatments from various methods of psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, combined with psychosocial interventions as an effective approach to treating individuals. Her goal is to empower others. She remains dedicated to education, health promotion, and preventative screening to attain optimal health for those in the community.
